Day 1 - 20 Dec 2019
Content: Starting our journey we took a Alaska Airlines flight for 5hrs 35min from Los Angeles to Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport,Liberia. the flight was extremely smooth and the airport was small but well managed we had to pay exit tax while leaving the airport
Content: After our Immigration and security check we left airport and took a 50min drive to our hotel. The best thing about this hotel is it is located near the National Park. We loved having free access to the cataratas and made use of the spa
Content: After check-in formalities we had Dinner at ground floor in the hotel itself, The buffet Dinner was spectacular. Chicken, steak, pork and chorizo from the grill & A nice salad selection and plenty of additional sides.
Day 2 - 21 Dec 2019
Content: After having breakfast we started our morning with a 45min morning walk towards Las Pailas enterance to experience Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, the largest and most active volcano in Guanacaste Province, the best thing to see there is the bubbling mud pits
Content: Heading towards Las Pailas loop trail which takes about 2hr walk. which offers an immense variety of scenery and wildlife such as armadillos, collared peccaries, iguanas, white-nosed coatis etc
Content: While walking by Río Blanco river we finished our hiking and reached for a refreshing swim in the Oropendola Waterfall which is worth the hike but do note it closes at 4pm
Content: After swimming in Oropendola Waterfall we were very hungary so we Headed back towards our hotel restaurant and Had dinner . the good thing was the Buffet menu was changed so we got a chance to try different dishes
Day 3 - 22 Dec 2019
Content: Starting our morning checking out from hotel and travelling towards La Fortuna known for gateway to Arenal Volcano National Park

Content: After 3hrs drive we reached our final destination which was La Fortuna and checked-in to a hotel, the location of hotel was fantastic, the rooms were wide and clean we were able to see volcano from our door
Content: After completion of check-in formalities we we left for jungle small zip-line tour over Jungle Canopy, the activity was included in hotel rates itself
Content: After enjoying zip-line which was fun, we went for a soothing experience at naturally heated geothermal pools located at the base of Arenal where we relaxed ourself
Content: After relaxation in pools we returned back to our rooms for more relaxation where we sat in our balcony and enjoyed panoramic views of the mammoth volcano
Content: we took Dinner at a near by restaurant as the hotel we were staying in didn't had any restaurant. we ordered steak which was amazing as per my taste good staff no lan guage barrier as the owner knows english and spanish both and they give choice for indoor and outdoor dinning
Day 4 - 23 Dec 2019
Content: We started our morning experiencing the best of the Arenal Volcano region where we passed through 15 bridges, there were some bridges which were hundreds feet long towards look out points
Content: After passing through bridges and 2hrs walk we reached the look out pints of Arenal Volcano, where we had a close look at the incredible biodiversity and many species of birds
Content: we headed towards La Fortuna Waterfalls which was 15min away, where we had swimming. The tickets weren't cheap but the views were amazing the place worth visiting
Content: We went for soothe our muscles with another dip in the mineral-rich waters of Arenal's hot springs.which is used as therapeutic baths by locals. Best thing to do to relax muscles
Content: We had our packed food for dinner in hotel, even though hotel didn't had restaurant they provided us with oven facility to heat food which was a good gesture
Day 5 - 24 Dec 2019
Content: After having breakfast which was included in our booking we checked out from our hotel and started our journey towards Monteverde region with a 3hrs 15 min boat ride

Content: After a 3hrs 15min Boat ride we checked-in to a hotel where the rooms were spacious and the staff was friendly
Content: Explored Santa Elena which is a very small mountain town located in the cloud forests of Costa Rica known for its Coffee and Cheese. It can be seen on foot
Content: After exploring Santa Elena we had dinner where we ordered Azteca and the Chicken Fajitas where we got desert for free loved the taste
Content: After having dinner and rest we got a chance to see nocturnal wildlife, where we saw sloths, armadillos, and kinkajous, as well as sleeping birds and frogs experience was fantastic but one needs to keep silence to watch
Day 6 - 25 Dec 2019
Content: After breakfast early in morning we left for Monteverde park known for its sky adventures passing through nature was amazing
Content: Through sky tram we started our adventure with Sky walk, which combines trails and suspension bridges above the Jungle Canopy where we passed through Flora and Faunas.
Content: Later on we started ascending over the rainforest and enjoyed sweeping views over the mountains
Content: We had a zip-line to Sky Adventure Starting point over the trees and canyons,which makes it the most thrilling zip line in the country it is little bit scary but we had a best experience here
Content: After a day full of adventure we had our dinner at the same restaurant with a veg menu suggested by the owner, in that that dish there were each and every spice added you name it and they have it.
Day 7 - 26 Dec 2019
Content: After leaving our hotel we headed towards The Gulf Of Papagayo which is the large water body of Guanacaste province. we had a fresh fruit smoothie on beach side
Content: After passing through dry plains and tropical dry forests we were able to azure seas. Watching dry plain transforming to blue seas is mesmerizing view
Day 7 - 26 Dec 2019
Content: After a long 4hrs 30min drive we reached The Gulf Of Papagaya and checked in to a hotel which a beach facing room
Content: After resting for few hours we headed towards the place which is known for its rich beaches from which we went to Playa panama beach which is good for relaxation. we ordered a beer and had best evening spent
Content: After a well spent evening it was time for a dinner which we had at the hotel itself where we were staying the hotel had good local and american dishes. Dinning experience was fabulous
Day 8 - 27 Dec 2019
Content: Today was the day to explore coastline so after nbreakfast we left for Playa del Coco which is a popular village for fishing, salsa bar and restaurants. this place offers surfing
Content: Later on that day a boat took us to Golfo de Papagayo for a sailing sunset where we had dinner in the middle of the bay watching the sunset which was unforgettable experience for us. if you are lucky enough one can see dolphins and turtles
Day 9 - 28 Dec 2019
Content: It was our free day so we planned to go for a Jungle trail to Sensoriawhich is part of a wildlife sanctuary at the foot of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano
Content: After a 2hrs safari from rain forest we reached Corobicí River. walking through river our guide showed us monkeys, bats, lizards, and even crocodiles.
Content: Walking down there is a white- water rapid river. place for rafting. we did rafting with experts which was a thrilling experience not a place for families with kids below 12yrs
Content: After Rafting we returned back to our room for a sunset
Content: Had Continental food for dinner and slept early as we had to leave for Liberia in the morning
Day 10 - 29 Dec 2019
Content: We checked-out from hotel and headed towards our last drive of this trip Liberia airport from there we took a 5hrs 40min Alaska Airlines flight to Los Angeles the airport was crowded
