Content: Day 1 - Departure from Geneva with TAP Air Portugal on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 18:20 in the direction of Lisbon where landing is scheduled at 19:55. The waiting before our next flight is 0350. We took off at 23:45 for a 10:15 flight and arrived in Cancun on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 04:00 (Mexico time). Watch out, no taxi at the airport before 08:00 in the morning.

Content: Day 2 - We then went to the port of Cancun. We took the ferry to Isla Mujeres where we arrived at 7:00 in the morning. We stayed one night at the Selina Poc Na Isla Mujeres hotel. Very good hotel. We moved in a golf car. The best way to move on the island. the island is small, you just have to walk around and get out of the way. Several beach club offers attractive prices per day with food and drink at will for about 40€.

Content: Day 3 - We took the ferry for Cancun around 12:00, where we went to get our rental car to start our route. The car was rented by Carflexi, a very good price comparator. We stayed one night at NYX Cancun hotel. Very good hotel. We walked around the hotel area, where we enjoyed typical dishes. You will find many local restaurants around this area. Cancun is famous for the party. Indeed, many bar and disco are also located in the hotel area.

Content: Day 4 - We took the road around 12:30. From Cancun, the journey to Playa Del Carmen is about 1 hour. We arrived at The Fives Beach Hotel & Residence at 13:50. A big heart stroke for this magic hotel. We spent one night there. We walked in this beautiful city, and we could see a beautiful sunrise.

Content: Day 5 - This morning we woke up early and we took the road for about 1 hour to Tulum from Playa Del Carmen. On the way we stopped in Akumal, 35 minutes from Playa Del Carmen where we had the chance to swim with turtles in this beautiful reserve

Content: At 1:00 we arrived at the hotel. The hotel's name was The Copal Tulum, a cosy hôtel. We spent two nights there. After we dropped our stuff, we went to see the famous «Ven à la luz» ahau Tulum. There is a small queue for photos, but the time is fast. We walked around the city that is so pretty. Content: Day 6 - Wake up and start for The Gran Cenote where we spent the day. We were able to see small turtles there. At night we went out again at AMBAR and I Scream Bar.

Content: Day 7 - When we wake up we had breakfast at the paraiso beach. We were then visited Azulik, which is a museum. Then, we went to the Zacil-Ha Cenote. We went to Valladolid around 6:00 p.m. It’s about 2h30 drive. The hotel’s name was El Zaguàn Colonial by GuruHotel.

Content: Day 8 - It is 7:00 and we go to Chichen Itza, one of the seven wonders of the world. You have to go early in the morning to avoid the crowd. Avoid Sunday because the entrance is free for the premises.

Content: After this wonderful visit, we went to Rio Lagartos to visit a natural reserve by boat. We saw birds, pelicans, crabs, crocodiles, dolphins and pink flamings. It was very hot, think about protecting you from the sun. At night, we took the ferry in Chiquila at 7:00 to go to the Holbox island.

Content: Day 9 - The hotel’s name was Las Nubes. Very very good hotel where we spent two nights there. Wake up at 8 a.m. to discover the island by bike. We also made paddle. There is no car on this island. We move by golf car or bike. The island is very quiet, we enjoy it to rest.

Content: Day 10 - Last morning in Mexico, we're sad but all good things have an end. We’ve been resting. Then we took the ferry around 12:00 to Chiquila. We have 2 hours drive to Cancun. Our flight is at 7:30 pm. We’re going the same way to go back to Switzerland.
