Day 1 - 24 Sep 2021
Content: Fly into OAK. Walk out of the airport across from Terminal 1 and take the BART from OAK to Coliseum Station. When you enter the BART Station, you will find pay stations with price charts that reflect costs associated to getting to each station. Once train reaches Coliseum Station, walk down the stairs to board the San Francisco/Daly City-bound train to Powell Street Station. San Francisco has a pretty reliable public transportation system, so if looking for a budget friendly way to explore the city, purchase the MUNI 3-Day visitor passport for unlimited rides on the bus, metro, streetcars, and cable cars.
Day 1 - 24 Sep 2021
Content: This Hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from Powell Station. Check in is 4pm. If your room is unavailable, you can drop off your bags at the valet and explore the surrounding areas and grab a bite to eat.
Content: Relax at Alamo Square and take in the colorful Victorian homes of the Painted Ladies.
Content: Explore the Mission District neighborhood. Relax at Dolores Park. Marvel at the street murals (Balmy Alley, Clarion Alley, Women’s Building Mural, etc.). Grab an iconic Mission burrito from La Taqueria.
Content: View the spectacular San Francisco skyline with a short drive or walk up Twin Peaks. This is a great spot to watch the sunrise or sunset, but beware the dense San Francisco may get in the way of your view so aim to go on a clear day.
Day 2 - 25 Sep 2021
Content: Wake up early and grab a delicious hearty breakfast. Due to the limited seating and no reservations, lines form early and have the potential to wrap around the block.
Content: Arrive about 30 mins early at Pier 33 to check into the Alcatraz cruise. Once on Alcatraz Island, you will be able to take a self guided audio tour through the prison and explore other areas of the island.
Content: Spend time shopping for souvenirs and watching the sea lions.
Content: Try the infamous sourdough bread and clam chowder!
Content: Grab a world famous hot fudge sundae at the historic Ghirardelli Square.
Content: An amazing spot to take photos of the amazing architecture and outdoor garden.
Content: Explore the hilly streets of San Francisco to find locations used in famous films and tv shows. Pictured: Princess Diaries, Miss Doubtfire
Content: Drive or walk down the world’s most crooked street. The view from the top was amazing but overall a bit underwhelming, but nice to do once.
Content: Hop on a historic cable car and enjoy the unique ride!
Day 3 - 26 Sep 2021
Content: Book an electric bike rental and ride across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. The total bike ride is 10 miles, but stop along the way to catch your breathe by taking photos of the stunning views at the Aquatic Cove, Crissy Fields & Battery East as you approach the Golden Gate Bridge.

Day 3 - 26 Sep 2021
Content: Sausalito is a charming town! Explore the shops and grab something to eat at one of the many restaurants prior to taking the Ferry back across the bay to San Francisco.

Content: This beautiful urban park that extends over 1,017 acres. You can easily spend hours exploring various attractions and gardens.
Content: Walk along the Embarcadero taking in the views of the bay shoreline.
Content: Try out the famous San Francisco seafood dish - Cioppino. The food, service, and views were absolutely incredible!
Day 4 - 27 Sep 2021
Content: Check out if the hotel. Take the BART to OAK airport to fly home!
