Content: Amazing place to stay to explore Olympic National Park. Multiple kid friendly trails within walking distance and quick access to the lake and ranger station. Beautiful!

Content: The Quinault Rain Forest Loop Drive is a 31 mile loop around Lake Quinault, up the Quinault River into the Olympic National Park, and back around the other side. It is a great way to experience the Quinault Valley. There are many opportunities along the way to stop for viewing waterfalls and wildlife, and taking walks, hikes or photographs.

Content: Absolutely amazing food, decent prices and very attentive staff. The food was seriously some of the best I've had. We had the chicken parmesan and the fettuccini Alfredo. The plates were so filling we didn't have room for desert but the deserts we saw looked fantastic.

Content: Headed towards the coast and made our way north to Ruby Beach on Highway 101. Ruby Beach is stunning and rugged like no other beach you’ve seen before. The energy here is wild and you will feel completely recharged after your visit.

Content: First thing you should do if you will be camping in the Hoh Rainforest is to go and secure yourself a site because it is a first-come first-serve campground only.

Content: The Hoh Campground is beautiful and some of their sites are located right on the river front. It is important to note that the Hoh Campground does not take reservations and is only first-come first-served.

Content: This is an easy, short hike sprinkled with educational signage and plenty of opportunity to explore some of Washington's gorgeous, lush rainforests. Be on the lookout for animals, from mighty Roosevelt Elk to banana slugs, and every size in between. Kids will love this loop, and at less than a mile round trip, it's a great option for hikers of any age.

Content: We enjoy an easy 1.2-mile loop near the Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center. Pair it with the Hall of Mosses for a couple of nice, flat exploratory leg-stretchers in the Hoh. Both make for an interesting introduction to the area, and will be a hit with the kids!

Content: Sol Duc Hot is located 12 miles inside Olympic National Park. Getting back on Highway 101 head north past the town of Forks and we made right to Sol Duc Springs road.

Content: We loved this place because of the hot springs pools. They have four or five different pools varying in temperatures. One great size cooler pool to cool off in the hot water. Our cabin was located 50 feet from the river which is very nice.

Content: The restaurant there has pretty good food but the day we were there, service was somewhat slow. The Elk burger was delicious.

Content: This waterfall fans into two waterfalls and crashes 50 feet into a narrow chasm. You can find the trail head at the end of the road the resort is on.

Content: It is situated right on highway 101 and every turn on our drive led to another gorgeous view. We pulled over countless times to take photo's. Lake Crescent is nestled in the northern foothills of the Olympic Mountains. The lake was a stunning azure blue and sparkled like brilliant diamonds in the sun on the day we visited

Content: Amazing location. Amazing staff and great food at the restaurant. Will recommend to stay at the lodge to soak in the nature’s beauty. Easy access to Marymere falls and few more famous hikes from the lodge.

Content: Lake Crescent Lodge offers visitors several options for exploring Lake Crescent by boat. We explored the beautiful glacier-carved Lake Crescent with a Kayak, Canoe rental from Lake Crescent Lodge. From your rental you can fish, picnic lunch or just drift with the breeze and bask in the warm sunshine. The lake is known for its crystal clear water surrounded by Mt. Storm King in the Olympic National Park.

Content: This small convenience store, located on the shores of Lake Crescent on US Highway 101 in Olympic National Park, is a great stop for through-travelers (sandwiches, snacks and ice cream), visitors (souvenirs or kayak/canoe rentals) or campers (supplies and sundries). Our friendly staff can assist with finding items you may need for your visit as well as suggestions on fun area activities.

Content: The decor is outdoorsy and cozy. We had the salmon skewers and clam chowder: way over priced, put together well, not great tasting.

Content: Port Angeles is known as the gateway city of Olympic National Park. Port Angeles has a lot of old Victorian architecture which is mainly concentrated in the downtown area and on the bluff overlooking the harbor.

Content: Hurricane Ridge has a number of hiking trails, from ridge top traverses to steep trails that descend to sub alpine lakes and valleys. Obstruction Point Road, branches off right before the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center, and provides access to a variety of trails as well.

Content: The Port Townsend downtown area is also filled with beautiful Victorian buildings. We walked the waterfront and took in the gorgeous views of the Puget Sound and followed by seafood lunch.

Content: When we arrived in Edmonds we once again be back in the world of traffic jams. Made our way back to the I-5 and southbound to Seattle. Our road trip ends here it was amazing.
