Content: I flew from Roma Fiumicino to Melbourne Airport with stopover in Singapore. The cabin crew was kind ans they were wearing some traditional costumes. Also food was delicious. They served us snacks and drinks all the way to our final destination.

Content: Upon arrival we took an Uber and went to accommodate in our hotel for a rest after flying so many hours and before starting to explore the city. The hotel room was clean and comfy.

Content: The day after we took it slow, just walked around the city to experience the local people life. We also went to the local markets to buy some souvenirs and eat some traditional local food.

Content: In the afternoon we decided to go to the Eureka Tower, that is a 297 m skyscraper, one of the tallest buildings in the world. The view from the top was breathtaking. Even the lift ride was enjoyable, in just a few seconds we reached the 88th floor
Content: For dinner we stayed in the nearby and enjoyed the night in Soho Restaurant, the food was tasty and the atmosphere was friendly, we also enjoyed live music that night.

Content: The day after, we explored a different area of the city and found many beautiful and interesting murals. Street art walk in Melbourne is one of the experiences you cannot skip.
Content: For lunch we stopped by this place with an amazing selection of food. This is one of the most popular restaurants in the area and we had to give it a try!

Content: This was absolutely the most enjoyable experience I had in Australia! We booked a day tour to explore the Great Ocean Road. From adventure to total relaxation, we adventures in the nature and in the wildlife!
Content: The coast was spectacular, this is confirmed by the beautiful scenery of the 12 Apostles, a group of limestone stacks off the shore of Port Campbell National Park.

Content: Later in the evening we went to the airport to catch our flight to Sydney.

Content: At night we arrived in Sydney and took a taxi to our hotel.

Content: Our accomodation in Sydney was located in 65 Myrtle Street, Chippendale, 2008. The hotel is called Prime Budget - Sydney CBD. The location was also quite good and well connected to the city centre.
Content: There are many things you can do in Sydney: one of the masterpieces is the Harbour Bridge. Crossing the bridge you have a great view of the city and the Opera House until you reach the wonderful gardens where you can see many bird species.
Content: Obviously, you cannot go to Sydney and miss the iconic Opera House! We spent the day walking in the city center, enjoying the view to this magnificent construction from every corner. At night the city change his charm, becoming a more romantic when watching the skyline at sunset.
Day 6 - 25 Dec 2021
Content: To complete our journey, we had to see the cute koalas and the place to go is the Sydney Zoo. Although I am not a fan of zoos, here many species were rescued from difficult and dangerous situations. We saw also Kangaroos and friendly quokkas.
Content: Flora and fauna in Australia is at another level, kangaroos are literally everywhere. However, I suggest to be careful when travelling alone in the wildlife because wild kangoroos might be aggressive if feeling in dangerous. In some protected parks, instead, you can also feed them and take a selfie with these funny friends.

Content: Excellent place, a bit pricy but totally worth. Food was tasty and the atmosphere was very cool! I recommend to book a table in advance as it easily get full.
Content: I can define my short stay in Australia very intense and enjoyable. The most interesting thing was to spend Christmas holidays during summer season, at the beach, wearing t-shirt and eating ice-cream. I recommend visiting Australia at least once in a lifetime because, come on.. Do you really want to leave this world without hugging a Koala first? 😃
