Content: The staff was great, friendly, open and helpful which made our stay to a wonderful experience. The terrace offers the best view over Cienfuegos you can have - absolutely amazing! The hotel is clean, luxury but not expensive. Luis mixed the best Mojito we had on our complete Cuba tour.

Content: Covered up in lush green jungle the crystal-clear river runs by the footpath and forms the odd swimming hole to cool down in. The path joins the river where two impressive waterfalls show their strength and invite you in for a refreshing swim.

Content: Here, we admired its famous lighthouse and did swimming in its shallow water plenty of coral to start our first session of snorkeling of our sailing trip.

Content: The next day head to the mysterious Cayo Largo. Once arrived at Cayo Largo you will already find one of the real treasures of the Cuban archipelago! Cayo largo is a small limestone cay plenty of wonderful beaches.

Content: The resort was clean, well layed out and there was always something to do. I had a relaxing trip, it was easy to get to “town” from the resort. Staff were friendly and helpful, always felt welcomed and safe.

Content: The most beautiful Beach I've ever seen. White endless sand, crystal clear warm water , calm and peaceful because it's protected by coral reefs . Full of wildlife and tropical fish that you can see right from the beach. Be careful if you go to bush areas there might be some alligators, we saw a small one in a marsh water.

Content: Nice place to relax, have a drink and eat well with music and singing.

Playa Paraiso

Content: A beautiful beach. The thousand shades of the color of the sea are priceless. Compared to the nearby Playa Syrena it is quieter and less frequented. There is a small kiosk for drinks and if you want to eat without spending much. Pina colada a must try.

Content: On to the next day of this sailing itinerary in Cuba! Follow Quinto Canal where you will find a sandbank surrounded by a natural swimming pool. Sail onward, because what is waiting for you today is Cayo Los Ballenatos. Take some time to do snorkelling because it seems it has been created for delighting marine life enthusiasts.

Content: On day 4 make for another popular snorkelling and diving destination, Cayo Rosario. This Cay is an uninhabited island, or better, it is inhabited only by iguanas. But besides being the iguana’s home and of a variety of tropical fish and shells, it is popular for its long stretch of pink sand beach. If you have ever wanted to totally relax on a desert island, well, you’ve found it! Now we’re halfway through our sailing itinerary in Cuba, but don’t worry because you’ll have other opportunities to sunbathe on another idyllic island.

Content: It is a small island with a shallow beach of a coral reef. Here you can swim and do some great snorkelling for then going to Cayo Rico, another uninhabited island with only a “hamlet” of iguanas and one restaurant near the jetty famous for its lobster.

Content: Our sailing itinerary in Cuba has come to an end. It’s time to head back to Cienfuegos and do the check-out at the base.
