Day 1 - 17 Sep 2020
Content: For everyone who’s into hiking adventures, Chile is the place for you!! A perfect way of starting your adventures in Chile is choosing the hill “Cerro el Carbón” for a morning trail 🤩
Day 1 - 17 Sep 2020
Content: There’s a trail that connects Carbón to Cerro Manquehue, and when we got there we were lucky enough to spot a fox 🦊🧡
Day 1 - 17 Sep 2020
Content: Our hike ended in Cerro Manquehuito, a small hill that has an amazing view to Santiago! We had to take this typical picture of us with the Manquehuito cross, is a must!
Day 2 - 18 Sep 2020
Content: Who doesn’t love a good wave 🌊🏄🏻♀️ we took our car and went to Concon’s beach for the day to surf 🤙 and had the best time there!!! The water was chilly 🥶 but the waves were the best for learning! We rented the boards and wetsuits in “Kanki surf shop”, it was 8.000 for both!
Day 2 - 18 Sep 2020
Content: After a morning of surfing, we decided to take a stroll through the Botanical Garden of Viña Del Mar 💚 There we found cute ducks, lovely gardens and an empanada shop 🤤
Content: The best golden hour of Chile is in the dunas de Concon ✨ There we were able to watch the most lovely sunset ever, with colors that made life look like a painting 😍
Day 3 - 19 Sep 2020
Content: We continued our adventure and went to Rapel Lake to waterski and kayak 🤩 in the morning the lake was so glassy that we had no problems getting out of our bed super early!
Content: We spent the rest of the day relaxing on the lake and a pool we had available 🤩 even though we went there on September, the water was warm and days were sunny! 💛
Content: We ended our day in Rapel Lake watching the sunset again 🧡 and going jet skiing! 😎 felt like such pros!!
Day 4 - 20 Sep 2020
Content: “Cerro Pochoco” is a small hill just outside Santiago, and to get to the top you need to hike for about an hour🏔 It has an incredible view of both Santiago and the cordillera 🤍
Day 4 - 20 Sep 2020
Content: After Cerro Pochoco we went to a rock climbing spot in Lo Barnechea 🧗♀️🧗♂️ In this place you can see local birds flying around as if you were not there, even Condors! Although we were super tired from all the activities we had before, we still had a great time!
Content: For dinner we chose Mastica! One of our favorite restaurants in Santiago 😍 The food is outstanding and the whole aesthetic of the restaurant is something else. You need to visit it!
Day 5 - 21 Sep 2020
Content: One of the most beautiful hikes you can do in Santiago is to this waterfall: Aguas de Ramon 💦 It takes between 2 to 4 hours to get to it (depends on whether you run of walk 😅) and it’s amazing!!!
Content: Morro Las Papas is a small hill which can be easily hiked by anyone! ❤️ but wear a lot of sunscreen and take plenty of water, because it gets hot during midday 🥵
Content: Our hiking day finished in Alto Las Vizcachas! This hill is amazing for watching the sunset, and it also has a great view to the Cordillera!
Day 6 - 22 Sep 2020
Content: We started our hike from La Parva on this beautiful sunny day, but don’t be fooled: it was so chilly 🥶 we hiked through a small and lovely lagoon called “Laguna Piuquenes” and then to Cerro La Parva, at 4000 meters above sea level! 😱
Content: Cerro Pintor is as high as 4.180 meters above sea level, and has views that we had not seen anywhere else 🤍 we felt like on another planet!
Content: Finished this beautiful bit exhausting day with (only a bit) of rock climbing. In Farellones we found some lines that were not very difficult, and as always, enjoyed a gorgeous sunset over Santiago 🧡
Day 7 - 23 Sep 2020
Content: Cerro Conchali is located in the far end of La Dehesa Avenue, and it offers lovely views of both Santiago and the cordillera 🤩 it’s not a small hike, usually takes about 3 to 4 hours to get to the top, but it’s totally worth it!
Content: 45 minutes away from Cerro Conchali you can find Cerro Carpa, which has one of the most beautiful views of the Cordillera de Los Andes we’ve seen. Take a lot of clothes though, because it’s much more exposed than Conchali, so you’ll be colder!
Day 7 - 23 Sep 2020
Content: By now you should know we love Chilean sunsets 🧡 they can be the most colorful events! We finished our day hiking for 20 minutes to get to a rock formation called Piedra Rajada, where we practiced a bit of rappel and found a small time for taking romantic pictures 😍
