Day 2 - 5 Jul 2021
Content: Vibrant and lively, Santa Marta is a small city often side-stepped by travellers on their way to the infamous Caribbean coast due to its ‘rough round the edges’ reputation. However this city does have its own special charm! The historic centre has narrow, cobbled streets lined with colourful Spanish Colonial architecture and they are pleasant to wander and explore, stopping off for something to eat or drink in one of the boutique cafes or bars in the historic centre. It may not be as photogenic as the nearby city of Cartagena, but Santa Marta offers an authentic, rustic charm.
