Day 1 - 18 Aug 2019
Content: We reached Aruba as early as possible. Aruba is one of the groups of islands called the ABC Islands. Aruba is nicknamed ‘One Happy Island’. It is a small airport that serves the whole island. The airport was very busy and the interior was well decorated. We chose this place for our vacation with so many fantastic aspects and reasons to visit.
Content: We checked into Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort. It was a very romantic place located on Aruba's Eagle Beach. The resort was packed with an intimate atmosphere. The rooms are very spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea. The spot was very attractive with a beachfront pool and hot tub surrounded by chic, cushioned loungers. The rooms are also equipped with dehumidifiers and air purifiers to provide clean air. We set some time to relax. We had lunch from a nearby restaurant and headed to explore the island.
Content: We reached Eagle Beach, not only one of the best beaches in Aruba, but it is also the longest. Eagle Beach is also home to two iconic divi-divi trees which are almost a national symbol of the island. It was a less crowded tourist spot. We experienced a very calm and quiet environment.
Day 1 - 18 Aug 2019
Content: We headed to California Lighthouse on the northern tip of the island for sunset. We enjoyed driving around the coastal roads nearby where we found sand dunes and beautiful rocky outcroppings. We enjoyed a spectacular view of the sunset and headed to have dinner.
Content: We had dinner from Madame Janette Aruba. We ordered Original Hungarian Goulash Soup, Bang Bang Shrimp and Steak a la Mafia. We started with soup, it was fantastic in taste and texture. The shrimp was our favourite one. It was sweet and spicy crispy Shrimp served along with the slices of pineapples. We enjoyed the food in a humble ambience
Day 2 - 19 Aug 2019
Content: Our second day started with an extensive breakfast. The food was good enough and a good start for a day. We had breakfast from the Elements Restaurant. The dining area was set overlooking the pool. We started with apple juice moved to Pork link sausage and bread toast. The menu was wide and good.
Content: We headed to Arikok National Park, by hiring a car from the hotel. It was the best and most famous spot on the island. The ride took us on a memorable journey on the islands through the past glory of geological, cultural, and historical sites. It is home to a variety of unique attractions and cultural heritage sites, including spectacular caves, original Indian rock drawings, and unusual land formations. We enjoyed each and every point.
Content: We stopped at Guadirikiri Cave. We did not found anything interesting. We got some unique photos. We spend little time in the cave and headed to the next spot.
Content: We drive to Dos Playa, located on the north coast in the Natural Reserve Park Arikok. It was one of the best-known spots on Aruba. It was impressive with two large bays separated by large cliffs. It is a rare beach on the east coast that can be tame enough to swim in. We went for a horseback ride to enjoy the beauty of the beach.
Content: We reached Natural Pool where we experience the real adventure on the island. It is also known as Conchi. It was undoubtedly the most highlighted part of the park with a beautiful rocky pool that forms an almost perfect circle. We accessed the natural pool from Diamari beach. The swimming in the Natural Pool was an amazing experience for us. The waves crash over the sides and the place was very impressive.
Content: We headed to Natural Bridge or the trinity bridge. It was the perfect spot to take beautiful snaps. The bridge was a formation of coral limestone. The landscape around the collapsed natural bridge is still beautiful and scenic. It was quite relaxing to watch the ocean waves break along the limestone rocks. We spend some time enjoying the beauty of the bridge.
Content: We return to the resort and had dinner. We ordered Beef Carpaccio and French Onion Soup. The thinly sliced beef served with capers and truffle mayonnaise. The meat was well-cooked and tasty.
Day 3 - 20 Aug 2019
Content: After breakfast, we headed to Fontein Cave. There are some spectacular caves to visit in Aruba, including Guadirikiri, Huliba, and Fontein. We set this morning to visit Fontein cave. It is well-known for the multitude of geometric and animal cave drawings. The cave was impressive with the rock formations hanging down from the ceiling. We walked down to a small freshwater pond with fish and to an old tile-floored house after finishing the cave.
Content: We visited the rugged Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins on the northern coast of the island near the site of the natural bridge. There is nothing to explore but we came to know little about the history of the place. We brought some snacks so that we finished our lunch there and headed to the next place.
Content: It was a very simple place with a cluster of rocks sits together. The rocks are seated in an area full of cacti and other plants. The Casibari Rock Formations are the perfect place for short hikes. The tunnels and narrow ledges make climbing the rocks exciting and fun for all ages. We got some beautiful pictures. We spend some time strolling around the area to click snaps. Then we headed to Alto Vista Chapel.
Content: We reached Alto Vista Chapel, built by a Spanish missionary. It was a very small and cute church. The local people referred to Our Lady of Alto Vista. It was a common sightseeing spot because of its history and size. The Alto Vista Chapel was the first church that was built in Aruba.
Content: We had dinner from Gilligan's Seafood Shack. We ate buffalo chicken sandwich. The taste and ambience were very amazing. The sandwich was well-presented. The crispy chicken was coated in a tangy sauce. After dinner, we return to the hotel.
Day 4 - 21 Aug 2019
Content: After breakfast, we headed to the most adventurous part of our trip. We chose a trip with lunch and snorkelling. We left from the Pelican Pier on Palm Beach. They offered a paella lunch, an open bar, and stops at three different spots for snorkeling. It was very valuable and worth for money. They stopped at the beautiful Arashi Beach, another in Boca Catalina Bay, and another over the shipwreck of the German WWII ships the Antilla. On the way back we enjoyed a small dance party on the catamaran. After the trip, we dedicated the reaming day to explore some beautiful places.
Content: By evening we went for a stroll through Oranjestad and down along the city's small harbour. It was a stylish outdoor shopping mall which is often called the wedding cake. It contains many shops including beautiful coffee shops. From the outside, it looks like a giant pink decorated cake but inside you will find a broad variety of speciality venues and shops. We have done some shopping and headed downtown.
Content: We finished dinner at Yemanja Woodfired Grill. It was a very beautiful restaurant with a wide variety of dishes. We ate Potato Truffle Soup and Grilled Seafood Medley. Both dishes were amazing in taste and quantity. The combination of ingredients really attractive to the taste buds.
Day 5 - 22 Aug 2019
Content: By noon we return to the hotel and packed our belongings. The staffs are very kind and polite. They arranged a cab for us. The driver dropped us at the airport. We got enough time to relax and finish formalities. We really enjoyed the time in the island.
Content: We decided to end up our trip with a relaxing mode. We dedicated this day to spend at Renaissance Private Island. It is the only private island with the only private beaches in Aruba. The two beaches on the island are Iguana Beach and Flamingo Beach. The Flamingo Beach is more attractive with the presence of beautiful six pink flamingos. We took a free shuttle boat over to the private island in the morning. We could take photos with the flamingos, swim in the man-made lagoons, grab food at the Papagayo Bar & Grill. This man-made flamingo island is surely beautiful and gave amazing experience.
